About El Desierto Casa Estudio

Set in the heart of the Desierto de los Leones National Park on the outskirts of Mexico City, El Desierto Casa Estudio is a refuge for musical creation. Musas by Natalia Lafourcade, the first album conceived here, began a story of collaboration and camaraderie that now spans more than a decade.

Since then, our residential recording studio has welcomed artists of different generations and origins to write and produce some of the most significant songs in today's living repertoire, working from technical rigour to create fertile ground for art.
